DIALECTIC
The History: In 2005 Moses Iten was encouraged by the mainland Uber crew to start a radio show on Hobart's EDGE RADIO. He called it DIALECTIC... For a while he collaborated with 'Cluster collective' main-man Angus Rofe before Angus left for Japan Moses then won an Edge station award and in early 2006 moved to Melbourne putting the show's continuation under threat... Hooking up with long term radio and music revolution collaborator bP (Brendan Palmer), and with the technical assistance of 3RRR, DIALECTIC was able to continue to broadcasting 2 hours a week... In 2006 sakamoiz moved on to other projects and bP adopted the show as his own, evolving it's production style alongside featuring a zillion guest DJ sets and international interviews in the process. In late 2007 DIALECTIC and Palmer were nominated and short listed for a CBAA award in the category or Excellence in Music Programming and "got the bronze", beaten only by radio programs that had been on air for 15 years or more... Hence, alongside the expanded slot of twice a week on Edge Radio, DIALCETIC
is now available on the Communty
Radio Network satellite. This is captured and re-broadcast by many
community radio stations in Australia.
Dialectic can be heard on the following radio stations, some of which stream...
